Abstract

User-centered design (UCD) is a methodology for developing digital products, focused on creating intuitive and accessible interfaces that adapt to the needs and expectations of users. According to Dan Saffer's methodology (Galeano, 2008), it seeks to improve the digital experience by reducing cognitive load and optimizing usability. Through qualitative methodology, we examine the Webtoon mobile application, a digital comics platform designed for mobile devices and considered one of the most notable Web 2.0 innovations in digital entertainment. From a CUD perspective, we analyze navigation, accessibility, and interaction characteristics, as well as the ability to provide a fluid experience and implement these principles to improve the user experience. We also understand the impact of CUD on usability and user satisfaction in digital platforms, focusing on user needs and goals.
