Abstract

Social networks arrived in the digitalized world of our era, becoming a means of mass communication and dissemination, being today a fundamental instrument in terms of the scope of marketing, where graphic design plays an essential role in digital advertising transmitted through these platforms, facilitating marketing strategies by giving the possibility of capturing visual attention of each segment through users in just moments. These lines collect data and information that identifies the most effective social media platforms for digital advertising in Mexico and expose, through a sampling from an informative perspective, the impact of social networks in our country, as well as their scope, highlighting the capacity of these platforms to connect millions of people around the world and it also share content that brings together thousands of users within reach of a click, opening a wold of advertising opportunities in marketing for companies, professionals and service providers, who have taken advantage of these platforms to position therselfs in the market or take ther products and services to new levels; demonstrating the impact that social networks have had on Mexican users in the last five years.

Author Biography

Cynthia Janet Hernández Ángeles, Autonomous University of Hidalgo State

She is originally from Santiago de Anaya, Hidalgo, Mexico. She holds a degree in Graphic Design from the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo. Her area of ​​expertise is traditional and digital advertising design. She has experience in printing and advertising agencies after having worked in various areas of graphic design. She currently works as an independent designer in her own design studio, where in addition to the particular services of her business, she is in charge of creating content and shaping the visual aspects for digital advertising on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram for small businesses and service providers in her region.
